    May Institute invites applications for the position, Clinical Director in the May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities located in Randolph, MA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the application of behavior analytic principles to address social communication and interaction difficulties and problem behavior.

     

    Opportunities

    • Develop and maintain a line of research in one or more areas of applied behavior analysis
    • Teach coursework in BACB-approved course sequences taught through partnerships the May Institute has with local universities
    • Provide supervision for practicum students in behavior analysis programs
    • Receive supervision towards licensure as a psychologist (as appropriate and desired)

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise Masters-level behavior analysts in all aspects of programming including:
      • The conduct of functional behavior assessment (including functional analysis) and development of behavior support plans
      • Development and implementation of programs to enhance student skills in the areas of social communication and interaction using a verbal behavior framework
      • Staff training
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including educational staff and allied health professionals to ensure high-quality implementation of evidence-based practices
    • Participate in the school leadership team guiding systems-change and capacity building in applied behavior analysis

    Qualifications

    • Doctoral degree in psychology, behavior analysis, education or related field
    • Certification as a BCBA
    • At least three years experience providing behavioral services to individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities
    • Experience in supervision and staff training
