May Institute for Adult Services is looking for a full-time RN to provide clinical services to adults with developmental disabilities within several of our residential & day habilitation programs dispersed across the North Shore.
Provide training and consultation to staff members as it relates to medical issues, procedures & techniques, health and wellness practices supported by the agency.
Ensure MAP compliance in homes to include training and follow up, adhering to state and federal guidelines.
Responsible for administrative duties within the service area
Review healthcare records in homes to ensure continuity of care and compliance
Provide medical training and follow up for staff as requested or required
Provide assessments for individuals served as requested.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current RN licensure in the state of MA
Previous experience providing care to adult individuals with Developmental Disabilities
Serve as a resource to other staff members in order to ensure continuity of care
Understanding of complex medications, food and other therapy applicable to individuals with Developmental Disabilities.
Valid CPR certification required
Provides training for MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification and re-certification
