    The May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in Wilmington is seeking a full-time Speech & Language Pathologist to provide active consultation to our students and staff. 

    Responsibilities

    • Conducting assessments and writing formal three-year reevaluations
    • Developing formal and informal programs and treatment plans
    • Providing consultative services to students and teachers
    • Assisting in the development of IEP objectives
    • Attending IEP, reevaluation, and team meetings
    • Developing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) programs and programming high-tech devices
    • Providing formal and informal training to staff and families
    • Working with family service coordinators, behavior specialists, and education administrators to provide carryover in all environments
    • Facilitating Medicaid documentation

    Qualifications

    • MA CCC-SLP licensure required
    • Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis
    • Experience working with children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities with a full range of skills and abilities
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
