Responsibilities

May Institute is looking for a Quality Improvement Data Analyst to support the Compliance and QI department.

  • Oversee aspects of analytics and business intelligence projects for May Institute
  • Consult with internal customers to develop analysis that lead to actionable, timely and transparent insights
  • Plan and assist in implementation of the overall analytics and dashboards; Improve current data processing workflow to increase efficiency and minimize the number of employees handling the data
  • Define and develop file management protocols; Work collaboratively with IT teams to deliver a stable and highly available platform to view and analyze graphical representations of agency data
  • Regularly produce metrics and measures to support closed-loop feedback process which ensures and validates quality service delivery to customers (analysis and root cause analysis) including effectiveness; efficiency; access and satisfaction measures
  • Develop Quality Improvement systems and ensure integration with May Institute SQL data repositories
  • Create, develop, and maintain Microsoft Access databases from existing spreadsheets or other data sources
  • Maximize utilization of software systems and Tableau for database management decisions; strategize ideal data collection or summarization techniques
  • Management and monitoring of the development of the multiple databases
  • Provide programming support for contract deliverables as needed
  • Work with managers/administrative departments to communicate statistical analysis methodologies and provide guidance and support for the implementation of statistical and data analysis efforts throughout the company (outcomes)
  • Present analysis results to different cross-functional teams and varied target audiences from technical to non-technical.
  • Gather and understand user requirements and use this information to update data visualization to make it more user friendly.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills required
  • Experience with Tableau
  • Excellent MS Excel Skills, VBA
  • Experience creating Databases in Microsoft Access, background knowledge of SQL
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s or relevant job experience preferred
  • Ability to work with all levels within the agency
  • Presentation skills
  • Ability to develop project plan
  • Project management experience.
