As a Human Resources Coordinator you are an integral part of the HR team and will work closely with the talent acquisition team in getting candidates through the pre-employment checks as well on-boarding new hires with the organization. You will be exposed to all aspects of Human Resources and this is a great opportunity for someone just starting their HR career. 


  • Confers with new hires and current employees to obtain release forms for various background checks and credentialing reviews
  • Utilizes various government and third party on-line applications to complete background check and credentialing reviews.
  • Completes drive checks for new hires and current employees
  • Enters background check and credentialing review information into ADP, spreadsheets and scans documents into common ground network folder
  • Generates and reviews monthly OIG report
  • Attends new hire orientation to collect new hire paperwork.
  • Compiles and processes I-9 and Tax Documents from new hires
  • Enters employee information into HRIS system relating to new hires, re-hires, changes, terminations, address changes, etc.
  • Follows up with program representatives to ensure that paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Verifies all information on HR forms for accuracy
  • Vouchers invoices for the department
  • Completes verifications of employment
  • Generates and distributes anniversary letters/certifications
  • Supports the Wellness program by distributing and tracking gift items.   
  • Assembles materials/documents for mailings          
  • Documents and archives employee files to outside vendor 
  • Compiles documents for audits and misc. data requests
  • Performs specialized tasks as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of Human Resources Programs


  • One to two years of college is strongly preferred.
  • Two to three years of administrative experience is required, ideally in Human Resources
  • Prior experience with ADP or other HRIS Applications is ideal
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to research and resolve issues and provide good customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate sensitive and confidential information
  • Must be detail-oriented & able to work independently as well as within a team
