Summary

May Center School for Brain Injury and Neurobehavioral Disorders is looking for a full-time Clinical Director to provide leadership in the area of clinical services, program evaluation, program development, training, and research to our school for children with brain injury and neurobehavioral disorders.

 

May Institute invites applications for the position, Clinical Director in the May Center School for May Center School for Brain Injury and Neurobehavioral Disorders. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the application of behavior analytic principles in work with children with brain injury and neurobehavioral disorders

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Masters-level behavior analysts in all aspects of programming including:
  • The conduct of functional behavior assessment (including functional analysis) and development of behavior support plans 
  • Development and implementation of programs to increase daily living skills and overall functioning
  • Staff training
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including educational staff and clinical professionals to ensure high-quality implementation of evidence-based practices
  • Participate in the school leadership team guiding systems-change and capacity building in applied behavior analysis

Opportunities: 

  • Develop and maintain a line of research in one or more areas of applied behavior analysis
  • Teach coursework in BACB-approved course sequences taught through partnerships the May Institute has with local universities
  • Provide supervision for practicum students in behavior analysis programs

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree and BCBA required 
  • Licensed Psychologist preferred
  • At least three-years experience providing behavioral services to individuals with brain injury and neurobehavioral disorders
  • Experience in supervision and staff training
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficient computer skills
